"I was a member of the Vestry of Christ Episcopal Church (Babylon, NY) at the time when it became necessary to sell the church owned rectory, a single family home located at 90 The Crescent, Babylon, NY. As a part of our due diligence, we asked for and received presentations from three local brokers in order to market the house. All were professional, but we were most impressed with the knowledge and thoroughness of Georgia Westcott of the Westcott Group. Ms. Westcott exhibited the patience and tact necessary when dealing with a board consisting of 11 members, each of whom had their own questions and concerns. In addition, the fact that it was church owned property required that permission for the transfer be approved both by the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island in Garden City, as well by the NYS Supreme Court. The marketing of the house could not have gone more smoothly thanks to Ms. Westcott's competence and attention to detail. If I recall correctly, the home was listed for sale towards the end of April, 2009, a buyer was secured in short order, and the closing took place before the end of July, 2009. I would certainly recommend the Westcott Group to any prospective seller or buyer of real estate."
